I spent the day listening to Jackie Hill Perry’s sermon series on Jude, because I realized I was painting this custom verse but had never studied the book from which it came. Jude is heavy. It’s about judgement + contending for the faith. But it ends with this moment of worship: He is able to keep us from stumbling. And He brings us faultless, joyful even, into His presence. Friend, in whatever you’re facing today, let that comfort sink deep into your soul. He is able to keep you. Able to clean you, save you. If you feel your mind and heart in an overwhelming spiral, let this be hope that splices through the chaos and anchors your soul. To Him be glory and majesty, might and authority, from all ages past and now and forever and ever, amen.
